Who we are

Watday, a sole trader based in Jordan, operates this service and is the data controller for the personal data described below. Contact: info@brandnesty.com.

What we collect and why

• Account data (email address, hashed password or Google sign-in identifier) — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Search data (the keywords you search and the time of the search) — to provide results and to enforce plan quotas and fair-use limits. Legal basis: performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in preventing abuse.
• Purchase data (plan status, the date your Pro access expires, and Payhip customer and transaction identifiers) — to grant the access you paid for. Legal basis: performance of a contract. Card details are never seen or stored by us.
• Usage and device data (IP address, approximate country and city, browser, operating system, device type, referring site, pages viewed) — for security, rate limiting and aggregate audience analytics. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Support messages you send us — to answer you. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

Who we share it with

• Payment provider — Payhip, for checkout, payment processing, receipts and tax handling.
• Service providers / subprocessors — our hosting and database provider, and the public DNS, RDAP registry and language APIs used to produce results (these receive the domain strings being checked, not your identity).
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
• Authorities where we are required to do so by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the EEA and the United States. Where data leaves the UK/EEA we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses with the relevant provider.

How long we keep it

Account and subscription data is kept while your account is active and for up to 7 years afterwards where needed for tax and accounting records. Search history and analytics records are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted or anonymised. Cached domain lookup results are transient and contain no personal data.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent where consent applies. Email info@brandnesty.com and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA you also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, hashed credentials, row-level database access controls and restricted administrative access.

Cookies and local storage

We use strictly necessary cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your interface preferences (such as marked domains and selected extensions). We use first-party analytics to count visits and understand traffic sources; no advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, although sign-in will not work without the necessary ones.
